sheBOOM is born!

(Don’t worry…no labor pains are involved.)

This community was actually the brainchild of a guy (imagine that!). He grew up with three sisters and works in marketing technology.

Although lots of women business groups exist, we saw a need for a site you can fit into your super-busy life and doesn’t sugarcoat the realities of launching and running a business.  We cover all the stuff that matters to us — money, management, relationships, balance, trends, and belief in ourselves.

Fast-forward about nine months (ironically) and sheBOOM was launched in its current state in autumn of 2016.

As the community grows, it will evolve (much like any baby). We value your feedback and your contributions. (New content is always welcome!)

The team behind sheBOOM are the girls who let all the other girls — regardless of how popular (or not) they were — sit at our lunch table in school. We’re all about kindness, collaboration, support, and fun.

Starting your own business feels, at times, like the loneliest place on earth. We all have our ups and downs, our moments of elation and intense fear. We balance our business “baby” with real life family members. sheBOOM is a place where other women “get” what you’re going through because we’ve all been there ourselves.

You’ll also learn from prospering women (sheBOOMers) who want to give something back.
