The story behind the fact: Gaby Alves and Jennifer Eden created Tampon Tribe to give women easy access to affordable, organic cotton feminine hygiene products. These two savvy and energetic women are passionate about the environment and run the only company in the U.S. that makes plastic-free, 100% certified organic cotton tampons, pads, and pantyliners. They are also helping reduce the estimated 20 billion plastic applicators that end up in U.S. landfills every year (gross!). Tampon Tribe was built from the ground up. Starting in 2016, it sold enough product to fund its initial shipment. Tampon Tribe grew 157% from its first to second year and now exceeds a 25% month over month growth rate, which should grow the company 255% by year three. Pretty impressive! (Great website too!)
