Who I am:
Simona Noce, Founder of District Motherhued, DC’s premier organization for millennial women of color.
My company:
District Motherhued is a nonprofit that allows mothers who identify as people of color in D.C. to connect and guide one another through their personal and professional journeys.
My fear:
After 4 years of PR domination at a reputable marketing agency, I recently took a leap of faith, left a consistent paycheck, and decided to focus on being a stay-at-home mom while building District Motherhued and expanding my PR & Events business, The NoceModel!
How I overcame it:
I overcame my fear of leaping by deciding who I wanted my children to see: a fearless woman who believed in herself.
What happened next:
In just a year, District Motherhued is 2000+ moms strong, has 2500+ social media followers, 10 sold out events, and kicked off the nation’s first Mommy En Blanc!
