Who or what inspires your work? How did you get to where you are now?

“I rely on the support of my colleagues and network of female founders whom I’ve met through Project Entrepreneur. Aside from personal mentors, I also look up to a lot of past and present business women such as Oprah Winfrey, Madam C.J. Walker, Lucille Ball, Michelle Obama, Ursula Burns and Rosalind Brewer, just to name a few. I learn from these women through books, talks, and interviews.”

What advice do you have for other female entrepreneurs?

“Just do it–I remember contemplating on rather I should launch right away or when everything was ‘perfect’, my husband told me, ‘just do it’, and I’ve been leading by this piece of advice ever since.”

Who was your favorite teacher or mentor and what did he/she teach you about business or life?

“I also have been fortunate enough to be personally advised by tech entrepreneurs such as Angela Benton, who played a major role in my company’s rebranding a couple of years ago.”
